A Career Support Group for Women Over Fifty
For women who know their career direction and seek an action-oriented support group to get a job or build a business.
This group will help you funnel your vitality and creative thinking to obtain or create meaningful work. You know who you are and what you can do, and you deserve a balanced, well-compensated livelihood.
The potency of this group comes as each member focuses on the most powerful action steps that will have the greatest impact. You’ll leave each meeting with a commitment to actions to guide you between sessions.
Limited to ten participants, and open to anyone who wants to make a commitment.
The Funnel and Focus group meets:
When: Second and fourth Tuesday of each month, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Where: 2625 SE Hawthorne, Suite A, Portland, OR
Cost: Come check us out at no charge. Ongoing membership is $45 for two months.
As a member, you will receive:
- Support and encouragement in your job search or business development
- Resources to help you discover job and client leads
- Assistance in identifying target organizations
- Feedback on your résumé, cover letters, or marketing materials
- A contact list of other members for communication between meetings
- Ability to network with group graduates
As a member, you will be expected to:
- Provide encouragement and be respectful to other members
- Share leads for informational interviews in your field
- Provide other members with informational interviews
- Join LinkedIn and complete a profile
